The flat is located close to "via il prato", between the city center and the beautiful Park "delle Cascine". Check it out on www.mappy.com (do not trust too much the distances, Florence is quite small and distances on the map appear larger then they are, you will realize it soon after living here ;o).
It is a great spot, in marvellous area, full of shops, bars, the promenade along the river and, as told you, to the park, with all the green (great to do sports or have a walk and with its typical markets).
One of the advantage of this area is that you are extremly well served by the public transport (main stops, with tons of bus, just behind the flat). Here you can also pick up the small bus called "navetta" to travel all around florence's city center, and some of them are for free!
Another advantage of this area is that is the beginning of a residential one, but after 100metres you bump into the city center with all the night life you want. That means that you will not experience the noise of the suppliers delivering goods at bars etc... at 4 A.M. (which is quite common in Florence' centre. The 2 main discos of Florence are close to the Casine Park, that means just turn the corner and pass the street. If you have a car, or friends etc...There is also a free parking overthere, which, for Florence standards, is like the water in the desert ;o).
Flat on the 4°fl with elevator(almost rare in Florence!!!)
The group is formed by two Italian mates, a German and one plus a Polish girl: great group of really nice people! Some are working other studying or both. If you like international environment with an Italian mate, this is the right place!
Rooms are extremely light and already furnished with beds , library, desks, wardrobes, decorations etc...
The flat was recently renewed, 3 bathrooms, huge living-room with 5seats-sofa, armchair, big TV and balcony. Cosy kitchen with balcony, with 2fridges, freezer, dishwasher, washing-machine, oven etc...Internet wireless Broadband...ALL COMFORTS!
